We inspect the rug, identify what it needs, and give you a clear, fixed quote. If we find anything during the wash that changes the picture — a hidden stain, unexpected fibre condition, or repairs that would be worth your attention — we'll call you before proceeding. You're always in control.
What We Assess
Fibre Type
Wool, silk, cotton, synthetic blend, or combination — this determines the right cleaning chemistry and process.
Construction
Hand-knotted, hand-tufted, flatweave, machine-made — affects which service is appropriate and how we handle the piece.
Dye Stability
Natural vs. synthetic dyes, and any areas with a history of colour bleeding or fading.
Soiling & Staining
Type, location, and depth of soiling — including pet contamination, food spills, and ingrained dirt.
Fringe Condition
Whether fringe needs standard cleaning, whitening, or repair.
Structural Condition
Any pile distortion, moth damage, edge unravelling, or foundation issues that should be noted or addressed.
Size & Weight
Used to calculate the cleaning price, which is based on the rug's area.
How Pricing Works
Our cleaning prices are based on the size of your rug — measured in square feet. The type of service required (standard wash, hand wash, pet treatment) affects the rate. We give you one clear figure covering the full service, with no hidden charges added afterwards.
If your rug needs additional work — fringe repair, stain treatment, or other restoration — these are quoted separately and require your approval before we begin.
Honest Assessment
If a stain is unlikely to come out fully, we'll tell you upfront — not after we've already done the work and charged for it. We'd rather set accurate expectations than overpromise.
No Obligation
An assessment is free and carries no commitment. If after hearing what we'd recommend and what it costs you decide not to proceed, that's entirely fine — no pressure, no fee.
Fixed Price
Once we've quoted, that price doesn't change unless something unexpected is found during the wash — and if it does, we call you before continuing. You decide what happens next.
Getting Your Quote
The easiest way to get a quote is to call us or submit a request below. For many rugs, we can give a rough estimate based on a few details over the phone — size, fibre type, and what the main issues are. A firm quote happens when we can physically inspect the rug, either at your home or when we pick it up.
If you bring the rug to our facility, we'll assess it immediately and give you a quote on the spot. If you prefer, we can collect it as part of our free pick-up service and send you the quote before any work begins.
