Our facility can handle rugs up to 14 feet wide — covering virtually every residential and most commercial oversized pieces. Rugs wider than 14 feet are assessed individually and we'll advise on the best approach.
Centrifuge Extraction
After washing, water is extracted via centrifuge — a fast, fiber-safe method that works effectively regardless of rug size. Oversized rugs don't need longer drying times when the initial extraction is thorough.

Moving a large rug is hard work and easy to get wrong. Rolling it incorrectly, dragging it, or folding it can distort the pile, stress the foundation, or leave permanent creases. Our pick-up and delivery service means your rug is handled by people who know how to move large rugs safely — from your home to our facility and back.
We come to you, roll and load the rug correctly, transport it in our fitted van, and return it in the same condition it left — just cleaner. Pick-up and delivery is included free with every clean.
What Size Is Considered Oversized?
There's no strict threshold — any rug that's difficult to transport or that standard cleaning operations struggle to handle is effectively oversized. Common sizes we regularly clean include:

Do oversized rugs take longer to clean?
The washing process itself is comparable in duration to smaller rugs — our 1,200-gallon wash tank and 14-foot centrifuge are built to handle large pieces efficiently. Drying can take somewhat longer simply due to the additional material, but our climate-controlled drying room with circulating air keeps this manageable. Most oversized rug cleans are completed within the same 5 to 10 business day window as standard-size rugs.
Can you clean very large rugs that cover an entire room?
Yes. We regularly clean room-sized rugs in the 12x15 range and larger. These are exactly the rugs that most other cleaners decline because their equipment isn't sized for them. Our facility was built around this capability — the wash tank volume, centrifuge width, and drying space are all designed to accommodate the largest residential pieces without compromising the quality of the clean.
How do you handle very heavy rugs?
Large wool and hand-knotted rugs can weigh well over 100 pounds — and significantly more when wet. Our team is experienced with heavy rug handling and uses proper technique and equipment at every stage: pick-up, loading, moving to and from the wash tank, centrifuge extraction, and positioning for drying. The weight of a rug is never a reason to cut corners on the process.
